Roasted red peppers, feta, garlic, and basil top this quick flatbread for two to three servings. A premade flatbread or pizza crust keeps the preparation to 10 minutes, followed by a 12–15-minute bake.
Ingredients
- 1 premade flatbread or pizza crust
- 2 large roasted red peppers, sliced
- 100 grams feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 handful fresh basil leaves, torn
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Brush the flatbread with the olive oil and distribute the minced garlic evenly over it.
- Arrange the roasted red pepper slices across the surface.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta over the peppers.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the flatbread is crisp and the cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from the oven and scatter the torn fresh basil over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper, slice, and serve warm.
Timing: 10 minutes preparation, 15 minutes cooking, and 25 minutes total. Add the basil after baking so it stays fresh rather than drying in the hot oven.
