Mashed banana and applesauce bind these oat cookies without a flour-based dough. Almond milk loosens the mixture, vanilla and cinnamon add warmth, and raisins or dark chocolate chips provide the final texture.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup raisins or dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix and Bake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mix the mashed bananas, applesauce, oats, almond milk, raisins or chocolate chips, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet or a sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes.
- Cool briefly before lifting the cookies from the sheet.
Shaping Notes
Mash the bananas thoroughly so they distribute through the oats and help bind every spoonful of the mixture.
Use similar spoonfuls for even baking. Consistent portions help the cookies finish within the same 15–20 minute range.
