Ingredients
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ⅓ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Beat the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and creamy.
- Gradually beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture until combined.
- Spread the batter in a 9×13-inch pan and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake for 5 minutes. Remove the pan and use a knife to swirl the melted chocolate evenly into the bars.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 30 minutes, until the center has no wet batter and reaches 160°F (71°C).
