Weight Watchers Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
WW Points: ~2 to 3 points per biscuit (depending on the plan and brand of cheese)
Prep Time: 10 mins | Bake Time: 15–18 mins
Yield: 6 biscuits
Ingredients
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
½ cup reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
¼ tsp salt (optional)
Optional Topping (Add 1 point total across the batch):
1 tbsp light or melted unsalted butter
¼ tsp garlic powder + pinch of parsley

Instructions

  1. Prep the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or light cooking spray.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the self-rising flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning/parsley, and salt.
  3. Combine & Fold: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Add the Greek yogurt and mix with a fork or spatula until a soft dough forms. (If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle in 1–2 extra teaspoons of flour; if too dry, add a spoonful of yogurt).
  4. Shape or Cut:
Drop style: Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and drop them directly onto the baking sheet.
Cut style (like the photo): Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, gently press down to ~¾-inch thickness, and use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut 6 round biscuits.
  5. Bake: Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly golden on top and cooked through.
  6. Finish: (Optional) Brush the tops lightly with melted butter mixed with garlic powder as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve warm!
