This creamy sauce combines cilantro, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic, jalapeños, cumin, and salt. Leave the jalapeño seeds in for more heat or remove them for a milder result.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 3–4 garlic cloves, peeled
- 3–4 jalapeños
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt, plus more if desired
Instructions
- Cut about 2 inches from the bottom of the cilantro stems.
- Remove the jalapeño stems. Leave the seeds in for more heat or remove them for less.
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender.
- Blend until evenly combined.
- Let the sauce stand for 15 minutes before serving.
Storage
Keep leftovers covered in the refrigerator and use within four days.
