Ingredients:
1 head green cabbage, cut into 1-inch slices
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red chili pepper flakes
1 tsp grated garlic
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped parsley
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Arrange cabbage slices on a baking sheet, brush with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
2. Roast cabbage for 10 minutes until slightly softened.
3. In a bowl, mix beef with garlic, green onion, parsley, chili flakes, half the cheese, salt, and pepper. Form four patties.
4. Spread tomato sauce over cabbage slices, add shredded cheese, then top with a beef patty and more cheese.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until burgers are fully cooked and cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.
